Date Night

Last night Fernando saw my little box of unused sparklers and said we needed to use them - I had bought them back in December from someone selling things to people in cars- this is common here in Lima- we were going to use them for New Years Eve and then for Isabella's Baby Blessing lunch...but they just kept staying up on the kitchen shelf...After we put Brian and Isabella to bed he called me outside and said we were going to use them now, so suddenly we were having our five minute date- our first one for the year;) It was pretty fun to write messages to each other with the sparklers:)

miniatures- because it's never too early to learn ;)

why yes we DO have a tee pee in our apartment! It holds all the toys neatly tucked away- and Brian loves to sleep in it at night:)

Well we finally have a place to call our home- although it is a rather "cozy" one. But it is ours for the next 5 months months more- we have already been here one month now. Slowly pieces are being gathered for it and I have to make mental notes about which things will travel out of Peru with us when we leave and what will we sell here.
